Making Christ known

At Glen Innes Anglican Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, through which he reveals to us that His son, Jesus Christ has died and risen again, and now rules the entire universe at God's right Hand.

If you are keen to find out more, please check out our services, home groups and all that's happening in our family church.

We'd love to meet you at one of our 3 services one day.

Coming Up

As we leave the Easter Season, here’s what is happening over the next few weeks.

We begin a new Preaching Series entitledBiblical Feelings.” Our emotions have a profound and powerful effect on our lives, and the decisions we make. It is important that we properly understand them, so we will spend some time seeing what God, the creator of our emotions, tells us about them from his Word.

We have just hosted a Moore College Mission team. What a marvellous opportunity we have had with these young, capable and enthusiastic people reaching out into our town with the great news of Jesus Death and Resurrection for us.

Easter

Lent and Easter  is the time to focus on Jesus’ self denial as he headed toward the cross on our behalf, and provides us with an opportunity to refocus ourselves similarly on the self giving service of others.  Maybe you can think of a way helpful for you to refocus.  Extra efforts in visiting, Bible reading, praying or giving are all useful possibilities.

Men@Glen

Men@Glen  was a wonderful success with well over 300 Christian men attending, enjoying fellowship together and building strong bonds as brothers in God’s family.

The speakers this year were Rev. Rick Lewers, Bishop Elect – Armidale Diocese, and former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson.

The recorded presentations by both of these men can be downloaded from the Men@Glen site.
