In response to the changes in family structure and the problems our youth, and indeed all ages are facing regarding sexuality and its growing prominence in society, Holy Trinity Anglican Church is bringing Dr Patricia Weerakoon, a highly regarded public speaker and social commentator in sexuality and sexual health, to Glen Innes on 7th-8th September, 2013.
How can Christians respond to these pressures? Dr Weerakoon will be able to provide very helpful insight into the effects of a sex-saturated society on our children, our youth, and even within our marriages. She can also offer practical advice from a Christian perspective on how we can address some of these issues in our homes and within our church.
Over the 2 days (7-8th September 2013) there will be 3 seminars – 2 Community based seminars on Saturday 7th September and one seminar aimed at a Christian audience which will be run on Sunday 8th September. The exact titles and content of these talks are still being confirmed.
